Cedar
biography
Cedar are a classic/hard rock band and have been playing for a few years as a group now. Cedar took a break as from 2003 but are now looking to comeback in 2006 with much more to offer. The band is based in Hertfordshire, England. Not very rock'n'roll by name but bands such as The Subways and even classic rockers Free have all come from Herts so there is hope yet!
The idea for Cedar was originally created in a pub in Hertford on April 11th 2000 and we named the band suitably after the road running parallel to the pub!

Alone
A track from our latest EP. Was recorded over a drum sample which we found quite unusual, so used it. The whole song seems to build up to the middle8 section.
The song took a little while to grow on us but now appears on our new EP as the closing track. Seems to have gone down well so far - what do you think?

Mary
A power-ballad that we originally released on our 'Melophobia' EP. One of the more mellow tracks - we're actually hoping to get a newer version of this online soon as we have a new drummer who adds so much more energy to this track.
